red came up with the characters in late 2007 and developed the story over the next two years. The characters are based on people he knows, but no sole individual's name matches their real life self. It’s not an insult it's inspiration; get over it. Gamble drew the characters based on some very basic descriptions from red. He has the right to the characters, their look and any products they appear on. We’d love to see some fan art, though try not to make any money from it… otherwise we might have to slap you.
